What we are
PeptideDex is an independent educational reference for peptide research. We do not sell, manufacture, or supply any compound. When you request access to a sourcing partner via our application form, your information is shared with that partner to process your request.
What we collect
- Browsing
- Page views (which pages you visit), IP address, browser type, and referrer URL. Collected server-side for aggregate analytics. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.
- Application form
- If you request access to a sourcing partner: name, WhatsApp number, experience level, and interests. This data is forwarded to our vetted sourcing partner to process your application.
- Jurisdiction
- Your selected jurisdiction preference (AU/US/UK/Global) is stored in your browser's local storage. Never sent to a server.
How we use it
- Analytics
- Page view data is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful. We do not build individual profiles or track users across sessions.
- Applications
- Your application data is forwarded server-side to our sourcing partner. The partner may contact you via WhatsApp to complete your application. We do not use your data for marketing or share it with anyone other than the partner you applied to.
- Notifications
- Application page visits generate an internal notification so we know the form is being used. These contain IP address only — no personal information.
What we don't do
We do not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking service. We do not serve ads. We do not sell your data. We do not build user profiles. We do not use your data for AI training.
Data storage
Application data and page view analytics are stored on servers in Sydney, Australia. Browsing data is retained for 90 days. Application data is retained by our sourcing partner according to their own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any data we hold about you. Contact us and we will remove your information within 30 days. Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information.
